The Bosch 044 fuel pump is a popular upgrade for highly tuned engines which require more fuel pressure and a higher flow rate. Designed for performance with reliability the Bosch 044 pumps are used externally and fit in line. A suitable pre-filter should always be used with the 044 pump to prevent damage from the ingress of contaminants.
