Koenigsegg is to the auto industry what a 3-Michelin-star bistro that only seats 4 people is to the
restaurant business. Jokes about the brand name aside, this is one seriously committed car maker.
If you have any doubts just check the numbers. The One:1 model name refers to one-to-one power-to-weight
ratio, a first ever on a production car. A benchmark for Hypercars in generations to come.

The Land Rover Defender is a true icon. The best 4x4xFar, remaining in production for almost 70 years until 2015. In the end it were the ever-tightening emissions regulations that closed the curtains… We cannot guarantee that our socks are emissions free, that’s really up to you. Also be advised that our socks are not expected to endure 70 years nor are recommended to walk on mud.

The car that invented the hot hatch set a pretty high bar for all that came after it.
But its birth wasn’t easy…
The prototype was based on a Scirocco, with an EA827 engine with dual carburettors and a lowered and stiffened suspension. When this prototype was driven by Volkswagen’s Chief of Research, he objected to the harsh suspension and excessive noise from the intake system and declared the car “undriveable”. Nevertheless the VW Golf GTI team preservered and ended up assembling a truly special automobile.
Gunhild Liljequist was tasked with creating a set of features that would set the GTI’s interior apart from the normal Golf. Her contributions became car interior design legends: the bright Tartan plaid upholstery and the dimpled golf-ball-like gearshift knob, making this sock design sort of a no-brainer for us.

From back when watching Formula One was like watching a soap opera – it had no lack of controversy, cheating, moral conflict, tragedy and more than a few plot twists. Michael Schumacher drove it like he stole it and ended up taking the Benetton B194 to his first of many, many Drivers’ Championship titles in 1994 – although the FW16 was able to secure the Constructors’ Championship for Renault-Williams that year.
For us it was the Benetton/Mild Seven gorgeous livery that sealed the deal – cigarettes might be bad for you but didn’t they use to make all the best liveries?
* a very special thanks to Wout Jonasse for this great design idea!

With ten official versions set apart by roman numerals, each new one poised to rule over all that came before it, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is one of the great Japanese dynasties.
Despite it’s humble origins as a family sedan, with the help of Mitsubishi’s performance division Ralliart, that transformed it into a car-shaped toy, it won 4 consecutive WRC titles at the hands of Tommi Mäkinen, from 1996 to 1999.

A road legal V8 engined race car which stood a mere 40 inches from the tarmac… need we say more? The inspiration for the desgin were Gulf Oil colors, which in combination with the sweeping lines of the Ford GT40 made it arguably the most iconic race car of all time.

It gave us the first BMW M3. It is by far the best looking 80’s sedan, it has the coolest stance and the coolest DTM paint job that made our life very very easy… Can you tell it’s one of our favorites?

Some say you can’t call yourself a true petrolhead if you’ve never owned an Alfa Romeo.
We wouldn’t go so far as saying that – though we certainly do understand the appeal – but we can all agree that it’s hard to think of a car maker that’s more intimately associated with motorsport than Alfa Romeo, a brand that practically established the sport that later became Formula 1 – and was also the starting place in the business for a young Enzo Ferrari.
Anyone who’s ever heard the noise of one of these old Alfa tuned engines, or one of the modern V6’s, has reason enough to never buy an electric car – we are firm believers of protecting ALL endangered species.
The Giulia GTA (“A” for Aleggerita) was a lightweight version of the Giulia GT production car from the 60’s and its track version quickly became a bit of a racing legend in touring car championships the world over.
The inspiration for the sock design is the triangular front grill with the round headlights with and added Quadrifoglio green to complement its Italian heritage.

The maddest hot hatch of the 80s makes its way to our garage. The Renault 5 (R5) Turbo designed by Bertone, was at the time the most powerful production French car with its 160 hp 1.4 turbo engine mounted in the trunk and insanely big wheel arches and air vents. Originally built to replace the aging Alpine A110 and compete with the dominating Lancia Stratos, it enjoyed immediate, although limited, success in the european rally scene, with its crowning achievement being a 1981 Monte Carlo Rally victory at the hands of Jean Ragnotti – fun fact, Carlos Sainz also drove one! Unfortunately it would soon be outclassed by the emergence of Group B and its monstrous machines, especially the 4-wheel drive competitors with a clear dirt track advantage over the 2-wheel rear drive R5 Turbo, even with the 350 hp evolution of the Maxi Turbo. Proof that cult status can be achieved even without a long list of victories. Only 1600 were ever produced but you can still get a pair of them right now! 80% Combed Cotton, 17% Polyamide, 3% Elastane. We use seamless knitting to create a sock with no stitches. The Mustang Shelby GT500 is just one of those eternal machines – as if the “regular” Mustang wasn’t already one of the most instantly recognizable cars anywhere in the world.
Its pedigree goes beyond being arguably the most beautiful and extreme Mustang ever built. It’s also been immortalized twice in the silver screen and starred in some of the most spectacular car chases ever filmed – whether you’re a fan of the 1974 or 2000 version of the movie Gone in 60 Seconds. It has since become a pop icon known simply for it’s screen name, Eleanor.

A rear-engine 4-wheel-drive mini rocket that was purposefully built to compete in the infamous Group B rally – with the likes of the Audi Quattro Sport, Peugeot 205 T16, Lancia Delta S4 and Ford RS200 – while still keeping some visual resemblance with its biological father, the MG Metro. 80% Combed Cotton, 17% Polyamide, 3% Elastane. Remember that time Volvo went crazy and raced an estate?
We do too!
In the early 90’s someone at Volvo thought it would be swell if they were no longer safe and boring and were now sporty and cool. Fast forward to 1994 and the 850 estate starts competing in the British Touring Car Championship. The first estate to compete in touring car championships was never overly successful on the track. And you’d probably be surprised to remember that it only lasted a season and was replaced the next year by the sedan due to regulation changes – it’s never easy for those who dare to be different…
Nevertheless, its uniqueness and charisma made it arguably the most iconic BTCC car ever – just seeing one (often on two wheels) on the track takes us back.. The fact that even today it’s still often mentioned and makes special appearances in recent Goodwood’s, is proof enough of the impact its one season in the BTCC had in motorsport fans.
That and the fact they raced it with giant stuffed dogs on the back just to annoy the competition. That’s the stuff legends are made of. 80% Combed Cotton, 17% Polyamide, 3% Elastane.
