The simply iconic BMW E30 had quite a long life with fourteen years of production. With its light (1,080-1,200 kgs) and agile platform, the E30 was to bring a new notion of dynamic driving to the masses, all due to much of its suspension being developed by CAD, a technique BMW had learnt when developing the E28. This was a turning point for BMW in terms of model lineup, and commercial success. The world met the first M3 model, M in this case meaning Motorsport. The E30 M3 wasn’t the top of range, neither did it have the largest engine, not even close, it was simply, the Motorsport model. From garage queens to drifters, we love the E30 and five 3er generations later, we still find ourselves salivating for them, as their value in the classifieds can show.

This edition is our tribute to the legendary Cosworth YB Engine.
Based on the older Pinto engine block, the Cosworth YB series is a 4 cylinder 2.0L engine series that were introduced in the road-going Ford Sierra RS Cosworth in 1986. 5.000 units were initially build for homologation purposes in Group A rally but in total, 7.145 were built. On this edition, we present you the YBT version of this iconic engine which is known by it’s high tuning capabilities achieving up to 680bhp with the Garret T4 turbocharger, and for its performance and recognition, we decided to call it “The Queen of the British Engineering”
